I usually write about albums and shows, but every third new moon or so I throw in an artist interview or, through Waxing Nostalgic, local artists get some space to write about the album (or albums) that influenced them to make music.
Nearly everything you read here will be about the music of Chicago-based artists, or shows inside a Chicago venue.
